History

They were established in 1919. In 1981, they joined the Combined Counties League West Division. They currently play in Division One of the Combined Counties League. The furthest the club have reached in the FA Vase was the third round in 2008-09.

The present clubhouse was erected in 1972 when 'The Green' competed in the Spartan League and used a pitch on the lower part of the park with the changing rooms standing where the car park is now. A few years later a new pitch was laid adjacent to the clubhouse and changing rooms added to the clubhouse building.

The reserve team joined the Combined Counties League in 1979 with the First Team switching to the league in 1981-82 at the same time as floodlights were first installed at the ground. The club competed in the league for 15 years during which time they won the Dan Air Elite Cup and the Reserves won the Division One Challenge Cup.

Due to the clubs' financial situation in 1994 they dropped into junior football. They were runners up in the Surrey Intermediate League (Western) in their first season, but were denied promotion to the Surrey Premier League. The next four seasons saw a period of rebuilding and repayment of debts. In 1999 the club were finally accepted into the Surrey Premier League after finishing runners up in the league and winning the League Cup. Off the field, new floodlights were installed and a boardroom created within the clubhouse.

A three season spell followed in the renamed Surrey County Senior League which saw the club finish fourth, sixth and runners up which allowed them to attain promotion back to the Combined Counties League where they have remained ever since. Season 2007-08 was the club's most successful to date finishing 6th and amassing 63 points.

During 2005-06 season major ground improvements commenced with the fixed barrier being extended to all four sides of the pitch and a public address system purchased. Despite the improvements however, the club was one of several demoted to Division 1 to make way for seven clubs from the disbanded Isthmian League Division 2.
